Dr. Y V Reddy, Chairman, 14th Finance Commission and Former Governor, Reserve Bank of India, inaugurating the Second edition of the Mysuru Literature Festival at Thangaali Open Air Forum at Wind Chimes, Mysuru, on 18th November. Editor-in-Chief of Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mitra Mr. K B Ganapathy presented the “Valuable Citizen of Mysuru” Award 2018 to Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoi, Renowned Philanthropist and Partner of Mangalore Ganesh Beedi Works, Mysuru, on 17th November, 2018, at a glittering ceremony at Hotel Southern Star, Mysuru on the occasion of the 2nd Mysuru Literature Festival. Dr. Shenoi, replying to the felicitation, announced a donation of Rs.10 lakhs to the Trust. Chairperson Ms. Shubha Sanjay Urs, Vice Chairman Mr.Sam Cherian, and Trust Administrator Mr.C R Hanumanth look on with other trustees.
