Kanathanda Vivek Ayyappa,is from Kadanur village in Virajpet, Kodagu, Karnataka. He studied at St. Annamma Educational Institution, Virajpet. A passionate writer, he pens stories, poems, and reflective articles in the Kodava language, for which he has received several awards. He has also participated in radio programs and was honoured by the Karnataka Kodava Sahitya Academy in 2025. His interests include reading, hockey, and cricket. He works at the Virajpet Head Post Office.
