Susheel GyanChand

Bio

Susheel GyanChand lives on a peaceful farm just outside Bangalore, where his deep love for nature and animals shapes much of his life. A committed conservationist, he serves as the President of the Wildlife Association of South India and is a member of the Karnataka State Wildlife Advisory Board. He’s been closely involved in wildlife protection efforts for years, working on the ground and at the policy level to safeguard the region’s forests and biodiversity. Equally passionate about shooting sports, Susheel is the Honorary Secretary of both the National Rifle Association of India and the Karnataka State Rifle Association, roles through which he has helped grow and guide the sport across the country. A skilled marksman, he has won medals in trap and skeet shooting at state, zonal, and national levels, and continues to compete at the highest levels with quiet focus and drive. Whether he’s walking the wild trails of South India or standing on the shooting range, Susheel brings with him a steady sense of purpose, discipline, and a deep respect for the world around him.
