Trish Joudrey

Bio

Trish Joudrey is a writer, educator, and traveler whose writing is shaped by her extensive international experience. She has worked as a educator, school counselor, and yoga instructor, and has spent seventeen years working in international schools in China and India. She has traveled to more than thirty-five countries and is a three-time walking veteran of the Camino de Santiago.

Her writing has appeared in Nova Scotian magazine publications, the anthology Solution Focused Practice in Asia (Routledge, 2016), and in The Antigonish Review, where her short story “Revelation” was published. Dancing with the Marigolds: My Twelve-Year Journey in India is her debut book.

In addition to writing, Trish volunteers at Hope Cottage, hikes the trails and backroads of Nova Scotia, teaches piano, and reads books to her grandchildren. She is currently working on her second book, a novel that explores the complexities of substance abuse and recovery.
