Gaurish Akki is a prominent Kannada journalist, news anchor, filmmaker, actor, media educator, and entrepreneur from Mudhol village, Koppal district. An M.A. graduate in English Literature from Karnataka University, Dharwad, he began his career with ETV Kannada and was a founding member of TV9 Kannada. He later worked with Suvarna News, Suddi TV, Kasturi News, and TV5. He directed Cinema My Darling (2016), acted in several Kannada films, and founded Alma Media School, Gaurish Akki Studio, and Que Prachara Digital. Recipient of numerous awards, including the Karnataka State Media Academy Award (2007), he is widely recognized for his contributions to media and journalism.
