Kanishka Gupta

Kanishka Gupta is a literary agent based in New Delhi who represents a diverse list of debut and award-winning authors across fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. His roster includes Daisy Rockwell, winner of the 2022 International Booker Prize; Avni Doshi, shortlisted for the Booker Prize; Jerry Pinto, recipient of the Windham-Campbell Prize; Anees Salim, B. Jeyamohan, Lindsay Pereira, Ranjit Hoskote, and Rijula Das, among others. He has also collaborated closely with 2022 Booker Prize winner Shehan Karunatilaka, representing his forthcoming work in South Asia. Kanishka curated the widely read series Publishing and the Pandemic for Scroll.in, which explored the disruptions and reimaginings within the publishing industry during Covid-19.
