Sonya J. Nair

Sonya J. Nair is the editor of samyuktapoetry.com. She is working on her first collection of poems. She has been published in Poetry at Sangam, The Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English (2020-2021) the Shimmer Spring Anthology, The Kitchen Sink Magazine, Borderless Journal, Rewriting Human Imagination- an anthology published by IASE and the Centre for Digital Humanities and the Borderless Journal.
She is the festival director and curator of Anantha- an international online festival of poetry since 2021. When not doing all this, she serves as the Head of the Department of English at All Saints’ College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
She is currently working on the biography of a transperson from Kerala and another one on the transgender festivals of South India.
