Shri. Nagaraj Vastarey is a resident of Bangalore and is an architect by profession. He is also a very well known writer in Kannada and English. He heads the architecture firm called ” Pragrup Amoorthsiti,” and his articles in architecture are published in the reputed national design magazines. As an academician Shri Vastare has spearheaded many studies and academic projects. He also renders his services as a visiting professor at architecture colleges.
Following his passion for literature he writes in both Kannada and English. His writing in Kannada is noticed for its unique style and approach. His writing has a special fan following for its urban flair. He has written several short stories, novels, historical fiction and novella. His stories have been published in many popular periodicals and he has also been a columnist in Kannada Prabha and Udayavani.
