Sandhya Rani is a resident of Bangalore. After obtaining her master’s degree, she worked extensively in journalism and also in all other forms of media.
Working for E-TV in news programs, as a jury for cinema and theater based programs and as a member of the research team for the popular program “Kannadada Kotyadhipathi” she has rendered her valuable service.
She not only has numerous media based articles, programs, dialogues, columns, talks to her credit but she has also authored independent books,novels, poetry collection, political and social write-ups, translations, travelogues, edited books, plays and many more.
Women sensibilities, complexities of relationships, gazals, world cinema and theater are her favorite fields of expertise.
She has penned the dialogue for the controversial Kannada cinema, ” Naticharami”.
