She completed her primary education at the Government School in Paarane and her high school at a Government-Aided School in the same place. She passed her Pre-University Course (PUC) from the Government Pre-University College in Napoklu and earned her B.Com degree from the Government First Grade College.

In 2001, she married Mohan of the Kadlera family from Bettageri. Their son, Mohith, has completed his Mechanical Engineering degree from BMS College in Bengaluru and is currently undergoing professional training.
Mrs. Kadlera Tulasi Mohan, as a homemaker, is actively engaged in agriculture and horticulture.
Alongside this, she finds joy in dairy farming, fish rearing, kitchen gardening, and flower plant care.
She has gained recognition as an artist through Madikeri Akashvani (All India Radio). For over 13 years, she served as a newsrcaster in Arebhashe and Kodava language. Currently, she presents devotional songs in the early morning Udayaraga program and agricultural songs and interviews in the evening Kisanvani program, captivating audiences with her melodious voice.
A person of excellent organizational skills, she has identified and promoted many artists from rural areas by giving them platforms to showcase their talents.
As part of Karnataka’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, she successfully led her team in presenting the “Honna Bittevu” dance drama during the unveiling of the statue of Nadadevi Bhuvaneshwari in various locations including Mysuru, Mangaluru, Raichur, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru.

-A former member of the Karnataka Arebhashe Culture and Literature Academy
-Treasurer of the Kodagu District Writers and Artists Association
-Director of the Kodagu District Women Writers’ Association
-President of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Madikeri Taluk, and notably, the first woman to holdthis position in the history of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat in the district. She has remained active and has designed diverse programs that have inspired school teachers and students to take an interest in Kannada literature.
She has also been elected unopposed as a director of the Kodagu District Coffee Growers’ Association for a five-year term. Currently, she is selected as the Vice President of the Local Institutions under Bharat Scouts and Guides in Madikeri Taluk.
