Vasudhendra

Vasudhendra is an IT professional who is also a well-known author of Kannada short stories and novels. He is also a very successful publisher of ‘Chanda – Pustaka’. the first writer in Kannada to be openly gay, his short stories are extremely popular. His short story collection, ‘Nammamma Andare Nanagishta’ has been reprinted twenty-one times. Mohana Swamy, his semi-autobiographical novel has been translated into several languages, including Spanish. His latest historical fiction, ‘Tejo Tungabhadra’ has been critically highly acclaimed and is debated passionately. He has received several honours including Sahitya Academy’s Sahitya Shree. An enthusiastic trekker and a traveller, he is also a qualified practicing counselor
