Preetha Kannan

Preetha Rajah Kannan, a former boarder at Sacred Heart Convent, Yercaud, excelled academically and actively participated in dramatics and debating. She graduated in Psychology from Women’s Christian College, Chennai, where she contributed to the college magazine and won prizes for debates. With an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University, she has written for newspapers and magazines, including the Indian Express. Her short stories have been published by Penguin and Unisun, and she has authored several books, including Shiva in the City of Nectar and The Tiger Throne. Preetha currently resides in Madurai as a homemaker and grandmother
