Poornima Malagimani is an author who began as a blogger and a journalist who used to write essays, poems, scientific and technological articles, and anecdotes about human relationships. She hails from Shivamogga and is an engineer by profession. She has served in the Indian Airforce as a nautical engineer and is now working as a joint deputy director in a central government institution.
She is the author of a collection of short stories in English called “Anyone but the Spouse” and three novels in Kannada, including “Ijaya,” which has been awarded a grant by the Kannada Sahitya Academy. Her works have been shortlisted in the top ten and five of the Chanda Story collection competition. Her story, “winner winner chicken dinner’ won the first prize in the Book Brahma Svatantryotsava story competition.
