Founder member of Parisara Balaga”, and “Save Chamundi Betta” committee, Shri Parashurame Gowda participated in the farmer’s movement during his college days (1980-82) after working as an engineer trainee in Vikrant Tyres, as Asst. Lecturer in Govt. Polytechnic, and later as a senior inspector of motor vehicles in RTO for 21 years, he took voluntary retirement at 50 to immerse himself in social activities and actively participate in environment-related issues.
