Lakshmi Palecanda

Lakshmi Palecanda is a freelance writer and novelist with a background in science. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture from Tamil Nadu Agriculture University and a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Montana State University. After working in scientific research for ten years, she transitioned to writing. Her articles have been published in various newspapers and magazines, including USA Indian-American magazines like Khabar, India Currents, and Little India, as well as Indian publications like The Deccan Herald and The Week. Lakshmi has won awards in short story competitions and has published romantic novels, collections of humorous articles, and short stories. She has also authored a series of books on Life Skills for Children. Currently, she works as an Adjunct Faculty in the Humanities Department at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering and provides soft skill training at Infosys. Lakshmi resides in Mysore with her husband and two daughters
