Kalyanaraman Durgadas is an alumnus of IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta. He has been a serial entrepreneur after working with companies such as Godrej, L&T, and Digital, promoting companies in Non-ferrous casting, Electrical transmission, Computer software, and distribution.
His works include Songs of The Cauvery, a historical novel set in 19th century India. Sorcerer of Mandala, a comic adventure, Forgotten Heroines, a translation into English from Tamil, Ganesatatwasudhalahari, a translation from Sanskrit. Songs of the Cauvery was adjudged the best debut novel in 2016, winning the Anupam Kher award in 2017, was longlisted/shortlisted for several other prizes, and was reviewed favourably by many publications.
