SAGARIKA GHOSE is a noted journalist and author. She is the author of two best selling biographies: `Indira, India’s Most Powerful Prime Minister’ (Juggernaut 2017) and `Atal Bihari Vajpayee, India’s Most Loved Prime Minister.’ (Juggernaut 2021) She is also the author of the critically acclaimed polemical work, ‘Why I Am A Liberal: A Manifesto for Indians Who Believe in Individual Freedom.’ (Penguin 2018)

Ghose has worked as a journalist since 1991 at The Times Of India, Outlook magazine and The Indian Express. She was a prime time news anchor on BBC World’s `Question Time India’. She was a Prime Time news anchor at CNNIBN from 2005-2014, hosting the shows ‘Face The Nation,’ and ‘India 360.’ At present she is a columnist with The Times of India and appears as a commentator on NDTV. She is also the author of two novels, ‘The Gin Drinkers,’ and ‘Blind Faith.’

Ghose was educated at Loreto Convent, Kolkata and Delhi. She received her BA in First Class in History (Honours) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. A recipient of the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship she received an MA and M.Phil degree from Oxford University, UK, in History and International Relations.
