Based in Bangalore, Shanth Kumar has a keen interest in sports and photography. He has been associated with the media industry bodies such as the Audit Bureau of Circulations and Press Trust of India, of which he was a Chairman, for a long time. He has covered the last eight Olympic games, two Asian Games (1990 and 1994) and many other sports events for the group.
