Popularly known as the”Millet man of India”, Khadar Valli Dudekula has worked relentlessly to make the world millet conscious and he also works towards sustainable living models for our planet.
After getting his PHD from IISc Bangalore, he worked in many international institutions and also at CFTRI. Later he became an independent scientist to work towards establishing the role of millets in human life.
He established “Hasuru hani clinic” and through his extensive travels he works towards bringing awareness about the millets.
He trained many farmers in “Jungle krishi” and helped them to attain economic stability.
He has been conferred with several prestigious awards including Krishi Ratna award, Nava Nakshatra award and many more.
