Kanti Joshi, a post graduate from National Law School (NLSIU), Bangalore, and MA in Sociology, hails from Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district. After a short stint as a practicing lawyer and Research Associate at IIM Bangalore, she founded the NGO SASHA (Support Against Sexual Harassment) in Bangalore. Providing Support Services against Sexual Harassment at the Workplaces has been the core area of Kanti’s expertise. She supports about 30 workplaces across different sectors covering hospitals, educational institutions, NGOs, restaurants, pharmaceutical companies, IT and ITes etc. She has conducted over 600 awareness sessions on prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace at various levels and been a part of more than 170 inquiries into complaints of sexual harassment.
