HS Shivaprakash

HS Shivaprakash has held teaching positions at JNU New Delhi and the Indian Akademi of Letters, and served as the director of the Tagore Center in Berlin. He has authored 12 books of poems, 15 plays, and 3 critical works in Kannada, with his works translated into several languages. He has received the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, and numerous best book prizes from the Karnataka Literary Akademi.
