Hindol Sengupta is a distinguished historian and the author of thirteen evocative and widely acclaimed books, including Sing, Dance and Lead, the much-anticipated prequel to his national bestseller Sing, Dance and Pray. His seminal work Being Hindu is the only book on Hinduism to be honoured with the prestigious Wilbur Award by the Religion Communicators Council of America. A recipient of numerous literary accolades—including the Valley of Words Award, the Kalinga Literature Festival Prize, the PSF Prize, and the SKOCH Award—he was also shortlisted for the Hayek Prize by the Manhattan Institute in memory of Nobel laureate F.
