Historian Dr. Vikram Sampath, based in Bangalore, is the celebrated author of nine acclaimed books, including bestsellers like the two-volume biography of Savarkar and Bravehearts of Bharat. Elected a fellow of the Royal Historical Society in 2021, he has been honored with the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar and the ARSC International Award. His book My Name Is Gauhar Jaan was adapted for a play by Lillette Dubey. With a doctorate from the University of Queensland, Vikram has held prestigious fellowships globally, including at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. Founder of the Archive of Indian Music and the Foundation for Indian Historical and Cultural Research (FIHCR), he also curates ARTH: A Culture Fest.
