Dr. Sonali Pattnaik is a distinguished feminist poet, academician, and visual artist whose multi-award-winning work captivates and inspires a diverse audience. Her evocative poetry and striking visual art have been featured in esteemed journals such as The Hong Kong Review, Fem Asia, Setu, The Bombay Review, Parcham, and Muse India, along with several anthologies, showcasing her profound literary and artistic talents. Her debut poetry collection, When the Flowers Begin to Speak (Writers Workshop), has been heralded as “a milestone in Indian feminist poetry” and was prominently featured in the prestigious Journal of Commonwealth Literature, cementing her status as a significant voice in contemporary feminist literature. An alumna and former lecturer at Delhi University, Dr. Pattnaik has dedicated over twenty years to teaching literature, enriching the minds of countless students with her deep knowledge and passion for the subject.
