A graduate in Political Science and Law from the University of Mysore, Ashvini Ranjan began his career teaching at Mysore University before moving into the business world, excelling in the manufacture of stationery and office products. Realizing the transformative power of education, he and his wife Shashi founded Pratham Mysore in 2002, an NGO devoted to educating children in slums and rural villages. Under their leadership, Pratham Mysore has flourished, reaching 1,200 villages and over 200,000 children. Ashvini oversees administration, strategic planning, and program expansion. He also enjoys photography and writing short stories.
