Abdul Rasheed, currently working as Program Director at Mysuru Akashavani, is the force behind unearthing the decade’s old ‘Remembered Village’ and collecting minute details about the book, its characters and its translation into ‘Nenapina Halli’. With an MA in English literature and an undergraduate degree in Journalism Mr. Rasheed has been recognized as columnist, short story writer, poet and novelist. A recipient of various prestigious awards such as Kendra Sahitya Academy Suvarna Mahotsava Award, Vardhamana Award, Karnataka State Sahitya Academy Award, he has worked as Honorary Editor for the reputed online magazine ‘Kendasampige’.
