Anu is a writer and translator from Mysore. After a distinguished 25-year career in technology leadership across India and the United States, she decided to pursue her long-standing interest in writing.

Her first published translation, Furrows of the Heart (Book One of The Plough and the Pen series), brings Mamatha Prabhu’s Kannada novel ದರಗುಟ್ಟಿ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿದು to English readers.

She is currently translating the second volume of the series and an anthology of ten short stories. Her own writing includes travel writing, articles, short stories and memoir. Anu is pursuing the Creative Writing programme at the University of Cambridge. She divides her time between India, the United Kingdom and the United States.
