Jayashree Jagannatha is a freelance translator, interpreter, transcriber, and language teacher specializing in English–French–English and English–Kannada–English translation. She has experience working with international universities, NGOs, researchers, and filmmakers on academic, literary, and community-based projects. She has also worked as a French language teacher at Alliance Française, Mysore and Infosys, Mysore. 

She holds a Senior Diploma in French, a Diploma in Translation, and postgraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Mysore. She also teaches Kannada to adult learners through ITALKI.COM, and her creative writings have been published in Taranga and The Deccan Herald.
