GARDENIA, Southern Star, Mysuru[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Professor C. Naganna is a poet, critic, translator, and public speaker. As an author, Prof. Naganna has published 50 books in Kannada and English.

He received all his higher education at Mysore University. Formerly, he was a Professor of Comparative Literature and Translation Studies at the University of Mysore and is currently a Visiting Professor at the same university. He was also the Director of the Publication Division of the University.

He was a member of the Kannada Advisor Committee of – Bharatiya Jnanpith, Saraswathi Sanman, Central Sahitya Akademi, and was also a member of the Karnataka Sahitya Academy.

Numerous organisations have felicitated and honoured him in recognition of his contribution to the fields of Language and Culture.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
