Raian Irani, B.Com MBA, was in the family business of manufacturing Jawa-Yezdi motorcycles. He was the CEO of Administration when he left in 1989. He is currently the Managing Partner of Yezdi Distilleries, an albev firm. His wife Jyotsna and he run a boutique homestay in Mysuru.
He has been active in various social, educational and sporting organizations.
He was instrumental in structuring the development of junior golf in the country and served as the President of the Indian Golf Union in 2013-14.
He is a Governing Council Member of the Ideal Jawa Rotary Childrens School and a Trustee of the Asha Kirana CharitableTrust and hospital. As a trustee in MLFCT he is actively involved in conducting the annual Mysuru Literature Festivals.
His hobbies are reading, photography, golf, fishing and trap shooting.
