One of the best directors of both parallel and mainstream cinemas, writer, actor, director, producer and singer, T S Nagabharana is an expert in all these fields. He has won International, National and State awards for more than 17 out of the 36 films that he has directed.
9 of his films have secured Indian Panorama entry in International film festivals. He is the only director to have secured entry in both mainstream and Indian Panorama twice in 93-94 and 95-96 in International Film Festivals of India. He has been on the jury for the national awards selection for films four times, has represented India as jury and has also featured his films in International Film Festivals in Mannheim, Milan, Iran, Chicago, Armenia and Karlovy Vary.
