A consulting physician, living and working in Mysuru, Dr. Lata Muthanna by her own admission, has been a lazy part-time writer for the longest time. Writing, between patients, is both a pleasure and a problem she says – it takes forever to complete a project! She will read anything but lately finds herself attracted to poetry, history. She likes to write poetry too and is partial to limericks. Her first book, Lopamudra’s Daughter – Memoirs of a Kodava Lady saw the light of day in the year 2012. War-the Ugly Mistress is her second work.
