A refreshing new voice in the Indian literary scene, writer Raghu Karnad, son of the internationally acclaimed GirishKarnad, brings an Indian perspective to World War II in his debut book – The Farthest Field: An Indian Story Of The Second World War. Currently the Bureau Chief and Editor-at-large of the independent news portal Wire.in, he has won the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2016 and the prestigious Windham-Campbell Prize.
