Despite having an educational qualification in #Horticulture and a post-graduate degree in Biological Sciences and having worked for a decade in the #US doing scientific research, Lakshmi Palecanda gave up a lucrative career in the scientific stream and explored the creative side of her personality. Extremely quick witted and humorous, Lakshmi is a published author of romantic novels as well as a series of 8 books on Life Skills for Children. She has also written children’s stories in verse format for an iPad app called iStorytree.​ Now based in Mysore, Lakshmi’s take on the things that an Indian-American faces and also how different it is when they come back to India is very humorous, while being poignant as well!
