Janaki Lenin’s adventures with her reptile loving husband Romulus Whitaker is beautifully recorded in her trademark irreverent style as she writes tales from the animal world. A film maker for over a decade, she founded Draco Films and produced more than a dozen films for National Geographic Television. She has written on a wide range of wildlife and conservation subjects for national newspapers, wildlife and travel magazines. She’s the author of ​’My Husband and Other Animals’, ​’A King Cobra’s Summer’ & ‘My Husband and Other Animals 2 – The Wildlife Adventure Continues’. She has facilitated the drafting of national action plans for nuisance primates and ​for the mitigation of human-elephant conflict in India in collaboration with Asian Nature Conservation Foundation, Bangalore.
