Chandan Gowda

Chandan Gowda is an academic and writer. At present, he is Professor and Dean, School of Liberal Arts, Vidyashilp University, Bengaluru. He recently published, Another India: Events, Memories, People (Simon and Schuster India). His forthcoming publications include Longing for an Elsewhere: Mysore and the Making of India’s Developmental State (OUP, New York) and his edited anthology, The Greatest Kannada Stories Ever Told (Aleph).
