Manisha Dasappa is an advertising professional from Bangalore. Spending her childhood and schooling in Ooty, she went to Portland State University in the United States for her higher studies. With a degree in Advertising Management and Marketing later, she now resides in Bangalore with her family. After spending the first few years of her career working with various advertising agencies, she started her brand and design consultancy Atomworks, in 2018.
With the Covid-19 pandemic bringing the world to a halt, her passion for reading led her to dabble in writing short stories that led her to release her first rom-com book on the Amazon Kindle app. Six months later, she added her second novel to the series and intends to continue writing in her spare time. Titled “the Basically Siblings Series”, the story revolves around the lives of 7 cousins living and working in modern-day Bangalore as they navigate their way through sweetie and friendship, the books describe the cousins’ intertwined lives revolving around family, friends, careers, and finding their place in the world.
