Dr. Krishna Rau

24 JULY | 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

JYOTHI HALL, Southern Star, Mysuru

Dr. Krishna Rau, also known officially as Dr (Lieutenant Colonel) A T K Rau is a Paediatric Haematologist – Oncologist by training and an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College at Pune. After his stint in the Army and the inevitable gratis ‘Bharat darshan’ therein, he retired to take up teaching Paediatrics and Haematology in some of the better-known medical institutions of the country. He wrote “Yesterday’s Train to Nowhere” on the spur of the moment during the pandemic when there was despondency and despair all around, in the hope that it would bring some cheer in those gloomy times. He lives in Bangalore with his doctor wife and the two stray cats that have firmly adopted them. He will be sharing his thoughts and his myriad experiences during the Mysuru Literary Festival on the 24th of July 2022.
