Kavitha Lankesh

Kavitha Lankesh, popular director and producer hails from a prominent family of journalists and media publishers. Her father P Lankesh founded the highly successful weekly tabloid Lankesh Patrike. Kavitha holds masters in English Literature and a diploma in advertising. She started her career as a corporate and documentary film maker and went on to make feature films. Her directorial films are Deveeri, Tananam Tananam, Crazy Loka and Preethi Prema Pranaya. Some of her films have won several international, national and state awards. Her commercial hits have run over 100 days in theatres. Kavitha has written, scripted and directed all fifty plus corporate films and documentaries and nine full length feature films.
